The Russell Square a a suburb of the Bloomsbury area which is within London Borough of Camden. It is a very big Garden Square. The Square’s name is the same as the Earls and Duke of Bedford. It has indeed become one of the most popular London areas Tourist would like to stay on their London Visits. The area has good bus and subway links with the other parts of West End and other areas of London. It is just about 25 minutes walking distance from Russell Square to Marble Arch and Oxford Circus where the well known shops in the. Notable among the shopping Streets but not the most famous are Bond Street and the Regent Street. The distance between the Oxford Street and the Russell Square is just about 25 minutes on foot. There are many buses which can connect you between Russell Square and other parts of London. London buses will let you see a lot of places in London but you get to places quick by the underground trains. The Euston station is just around the corner and the distance between the Euston station and the Russell square station in about seven minutes on foot.
You will find a lot of tourist attractions in Bloomsbury and many of them are close to Russell Square. You are just minutes away from the British Museum which is in Bloomsbury. Also very close to the Russell Square is the British Library. Another place of Interest in the area is the University College of London on Gower Street. The Covent Garden can boast of shops, street performers from various countries, restaurants and other eating places, etc. It is just twenty five minutes away from Russell Square and it is the middle of the London West End. The Theatreland or the Leicester Square, the Charing Cross, the Strand and the Piccadilly Circus are all not far away from the area.
