In times of economical difficulties like many other large families, we occasionally must struggle to make ends meet. As many other people we work on a short budget in the beginning, so there is no more room to treat ourselves to something nice or to buy extras. For instance, getaways used to be out of the question, as accommodation, plane tickets, eating, and museum or park admissions for six people may easily run to several thousand dollars – money which we usually don’t have in times of low economy.
